Emberfall Saga

Emberfall Saga is a proper time sink in the best way. You build a party of four, level them across dozens of hours, and slot skills that actually change how a fight plays out. The turn-based combat rewards planning — I lost a few battles simply because I didn't read the enemy's buff correctly.

What surprised me was the writing. Side characters have real arcs, and a couple of my dialogue choices closed off quests I only found out about later. It gives the world weight. The main story runs long, and I never felt like it was padding just to keep me tapping.

It's generous with save points and lets you speed up battle animations, which matters on mobile. If you want something to sink into over a few weeks, this is an easy recommendation.
